A 30 Minute Encounter for 2
The Spider Monkey Encounter at TGR Exotics is a 30 minute adventure for 2. Participants must be over 5 years old. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a paid adult. For the safety and health of our animals, no one is permitted if they are coughing, have a runny nose or any signs of illness. It is up to the discretion of TGR Exotics staff to determine fitness of participants for this encounter.
Spider monkeys are New World monkeys found in the tropical forests of Central and South America, from southern Mexico to Brazil. They have long, thin arms with hook-like hands that allow them to swing through the trees. Unlike most other monkeys, spider monkeys do not opposable thumbs. All spider monkey species are threatened and most are endangered. The brown-headed spider monkey and theare listed as critically endangered.
