Zoo Kids: Kids Night Out
See monkeys, african cats, porcupines, kangaroos and more!
Parents enjoy a kid free evening and kids enjoy a zoo adventure! Skip the hassle of finding a sitter and send kids over to the zoo for a fun filled evening. Kids will experience a twilight tour of the zoo, crafts, games and more. Pizza/Dessert dinner is included.
Time: 5pm to 10pm We order pizza from Dominos and some type of dessert. These are not gluten free items. If you child has a food allergy we can purchase a gluten free pizza.
The tamandua is a type of anteater and is often called the lesser anteater because it's smaller than its relative, the giant anteater. The tamandua is comfortable in on the ground and in the trees. It is most active at night, and often nests during the day in hollow tree trunks. It has small eyes and poor vision but can hear and smell quite well.
Is a hyena a dog? Or a cat? Well the answer is, it's neither a dog or a cat. In fact, they are so unique they are in a family all their own, the Hyaenidae. There are 4 types in the hyena family - the spotted hyena, the striped hyena, the brown hyena, and the aardwolf.
